In honour of The Brunswick Four, this shirt celebrates being queer and L-I-V-I-N-G for it!
In 1974, four women attended an open mic night at The Brunswick House (now Toronto's 4,000th rexall). They decided to take the stage and sing I Enjoy Being a Girl, but changed the lyrics to I Enjoy Being a Dyke (!). Their subsequent *arrest* (we know) and *legal battle* (for real) made this a pivotal moment in Toronto's (and Canada's) fight for queer equality. We want these sheroes to be remembered forever.
